Amazing value for money, modern and comfortable room, helpful and friendly staff, central location, free undercover parking.
It was all superb.

Good location and undercover parking.
Staff need to be aware of parking prices and conditions. We paid for parking when we checked in and it wasn't registered on the computer. Another staff member tried to charge us again for parking when we checked out and was not very happy when we told her we had already paid.

I had a fantastic stay at Nomads Byron Bay Backpackers. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with plenty of activities to join in on. I loved the spaciousness of my 4 bed en-suite room with a balcony, it was clean and modern. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach. I highly recommend this hostel!

Cleanliness of the rooms and the hostel. The design ..
After you are already in the hostel and want to extend your stay, the price is higher. That was the reson we had to leave.

Nice design, fairly new hostel.
Cleaness of the rooms, noise after 23.00h (of drunken hostel-guests).

First impression was that this backpackers was very modern! No old fashion rooms smelling of old socks, but nice decorated clean rooms with each a balcony and flat-screen tv!

Close to shops and beaches
For a $130 per night "King room" the room itself was very small, the bed was two singles pushed together and the pillows were incredibly hard to sleep on. I heard doors banging and people talking/ shouting in the corridors all night.

I recently stayed at a large hostel in Byron Bay and got great value for my money. The room was nice and airy, with air conditioning and a balcony. The location was perfect, with shops and the beach nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable.
The breakfast experience could have been better.

Good location. Close to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars. You can park your car for free in front of the hotel in the street.
The double king room was rather expensive if you know you're staying in a backpackers. Girl at the check in desk was rather uninterested and unfriendly an didn't want to give a receipt upon paying $150 cash for the room. (Girl that checked us out however was friendly) No free internet in the rooms. The king room has no balcony and you will be looking out on a roof. Even when you close the curtains your room will light up early in the morning because of a window in the ceiling without curtains. A lot of noise in the hallway when we were staying. If they get the staff problems fixed and the price would drop a tad we would consider staying again but for this price you can find better.

Nice rooms, staff were polite and offered good advice when we asked about where to find good food around the area.
The airconditioning unit was hard to operate/there wasn't a controller, but anyway it wasn't hot but I can imagine if summer comes it wouldn't be too good

Great location, right on the high street of this city, close to everything you could ever want. Clean private rooms with modern amenities and free undercover parking.
Noisy recreation room opposite private rooms.

Location was great & facilities on site
They advertise the Beds as King size beds when in fact they are 2 king single beds zipped together, that was very disappointing & false advertising in my eyes.

We stayed in a king room and for the price, I don't think this can be beaten in byron bay.
This is a large backpackers, so be prepared for a bit of noise...there was a lot of knocking on doors down the hall, and music starts at about 8am (I assume to wake the hungover people up in time for check out).
